To seek the blessings of Lord Krishna, the students celebrated Janmashtami with mirth and joy. The students came dressed up as Lord Krishna, Radha, playmates, and friends of Krishnaโs childhood. They were accessorized with colorful bangles, odhani, and peacock crowns to set the Janmashtami mood. ๐๐ The School premises were decorated with balloons, flutes, and matkies giving the vibes of festivity. ๐๐ถ Special assemblies were conducted wherein the students swayed to the tunes of traditional songs. ๐๐บ
The students were overjoyed when they broke the โDahi Handiโ to grace this occasion. Dahi Handi is the most ancient joyful game played and celebrated for the birth of Krishna in Janmashtami. ๐ฅณ๐ฏ Educational videos were shown to the students to make them aware of the preachings of Lord Krishna. ๐ The happy and excited students also participated enthusiastically in craftwork and made flutes, crowns, and decorated matkies. ๐จโ๏ธ The teachers instilled the value of self-worth and introspection in the students. ๐งโโ๏ธ๐งโโ๏ธ The day was a delightful divine journey for the students. ๐
